An intriguing establishment from the early 1900s, offers a glimpse into the past with its historic charm. However, the pool area, while comfortable & family-friendly, lacks the elegance & classic appeal one might expect from such a vintage venue. Families will find the pool accommodating, as its often bustling with children. This lively atmosphere, though, brings its share of noise & the occasional splash, which might not be ideal for those seeking a tranquil escape. On the positive side, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that kids are free to enjoy their time in the pool, for better or worse. The ambiance around the pool feels more like a pleasant backyard rather than an elegant mansion setting, which was a bit of a letdown given our expectations. For the price, we found ourselves wishing for an adults-only pool option or more picturesque views. While this hotel can be a decent choice for locals in LI, making the trip from NYC didn't feel worthwhile for us. 

A Blend of History and Family Fun

Lovely pool area with plenty of reservable seating options. Friendly and helpful staff made the day smooth and relaxed. 

Didn't feel like a party pool when we visited, was family friendly and very chilled. 

Relaxing and Friendly spot 

Had such an amazing day by the pool, relaxing and celebrating my boyfriends birthday. From the staff to the facility, everything was wonderful. The space and pool are as pictured. We booked a daybed and it was SO COMFORTABLE and worth it! There were a good number of other people spending the day poolside as well, but it never felt crowded. Truly beyond relaxing and such an all around great experience!

A Dream Daycation

We celebrated Fathers Day by splurging on the poolside cabana. Check In was quick and easy. The Mansion is in need of some TLC though. The $600 cabana came with a Fathers Day BBQ buffet. Alcohol not included. It was ok. Burgers were literally raw inside. The rest of the food was just ok. Matthew at the pool was great. Very accommodating. Pool was not heated at all. Freezing cold and had pine tree seeds floating all over (skimmers not working?). Overall, I probably wouldn't return. It wasn't terrible but not worth the money spent. 

Fathers Day Pool Cabana

I had a wonderful day spent at the Mansion. The place is beautiful, calm, and clean. The staff there goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable (especially Matthew who really took care of us and our needs). I will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you 

Great time at the Mansion at Glen Cove

I recently visited The Mansion at Glen Cove with my toddler for a mommy and me Saturday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The Pool Club, which is open to both hotel guests and the public, offers a delightful escape. We opted for the full day pass, available from 10 AM to 6 PM, and it was worth every penny at $65.

The historic mansion provides a beautiful and serene backdrop, making the whole experience feel luxurious and special. The pool area is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. My toddler had a fantastic time splashing around, and I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.

Overall, The Mansion at Glen Cove offers a perfect day getaway with excellent amenities and a charming setting. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a day by the pool in a historic and picturesque environment.

We had such a fun pool day here. The staff were friendly and had clean facilities and pool. We enjoyed some drinks by the pool and relaxed all day.

Great

Property and pool was great. Heated pool and it was fairly a decent size. They offer food and beverages on select days. I wish they had an expanded drink menu, the wines are mostly house brands. Otherwise, the facility was well maintained and clean. The service was friendly and prompt. Matthew who was on hand was so courteous and checked in on us several times. I wished they had a bit more umbrellas for the loungers but otherwise this is a great find. There weren't too many party goers (thank god for no loud music and someone getting ill in the pool)
