Beach Settee's

These customizable modular beach settees will allow everyone to beach in the best way possible, while creating or continuing their beach rituals. In-room menus will be available for guests to choose from a choice of set-ups, such as a romantic moment for two, to an extended family set-up. There will be a food and beverage offering along with the settees, which were designed by Geoffrey Walsky of Iconic Modern Home. Beach Settees are reserved for adult guests 18-years or older. 

The Commodore Club Membership

I have previously been to the halyard restaurant at the soundview hotel and the low tide beach bar so I was excited to book a day room to utilize the pool and poolside snack/bar option (Jacks shack) but we didnt realize the shack is only open certain days a week (not Wednesdays) there was also no other food options available on Wednesdays on the property so we had to leave the property to get lunch, which was a bummer, and took away from our time poolside.

 All in all we had a nice day at the pool, but went to return to the room around 3:30 and our keys wouldnt work (check out was at 4) I had to call the front desk twice to ask for someone to let us back into our room and received an attitude and no apology from either receptionist both times I called. There was also another guest locked out of their room who also had a day pass waiting to be let in. 

Id still recommend utilizing the pass and property but check the food and drink options open so you can properly plan your stay.

Great day trip 

My first experience with ResortPass as a gift for my moms 60th birthday and I was appalled. It felt like we were at a cheap motel. Aside from the tiny & rocky beach, their pool area was not nice at all, small & overcrowded (on a weekday) with limited cheap resources (not enough chairs or umbrellas), an unsanitary trailer bathroom, and the poolside/beachside service advertised is actually just you ordering from a shack concession stand and they bring it out to you in a brown bag. Grossly misrepresented to call this a resort, if you dont want to be disappointed like we were I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Wish we could get our money back. 

Dont Waste Your Money

I think if the cost was half of what I paid it would have been worth it. Sadly loud guests were also an issue and not the fault of this website. I just think the cost was not equivalent to the get. 

Awesome Location

The hotel was nice, and had absolutely stunning views but the hotel room wasnt ready and we had to wait 30 minutes, and when youre renting a day room the check in time should be precise. The pool was absolutely freezing, making it very undesirable to go in. The food was also very expensive at the pool. The room was nice and very clean, and we eat our lunch on the balcony which was beautiful overlooking the water.
The beach was also nice, very rocky, but thatsThe beach was also nice, with clear water. 
Overall, for the price that we paid, it doesnt seem worth spending the money to rent a day room/or do a day pass at this resort. I would recommend it for an overnight stay.

Great place but maybe not for a day room/pass

So, a quick review.

Check in was too long.

Too many bees, like way too many.

The pool is ice cold, everyone said the same thing.

Jacks Shack.. its a shack.

Bathroom, portable toilet.

Again nothing wrong with it, but its not great.

Nothing bad, but not great either.

Nice location but very expensive for an outdated pool. 

Good location 

The pool at the Sound View was nice. It's a pretty big pool and there were many chairs available to choose from when we arrived. My only complaint was that the water temperature was a bit too cold so I couldn't really enjoy staying in the water for long, which was unfortunate.

Relaxing vibes

The Soundview Inn was nice and the pool was nice, also the beach but it was too expensive $80 for the day per person - lunch should have been included - and the cab ride to and from the train station was $40 round trip for a 3 min 2 mile ride $20 each way which was ridiculous.   Us three girls who bought a pass that day felt that without lunch the pass should have been only $40 and the cab ride should have been only $10.  

Soundview Inn very nice

This is a lovely setting with a pool. The food is incredibly expensive and not very good. N ext year,  please heat the pool.

The Soundview Greenport is the perfect spot to enjoy the life aquatic for a day. Enjoy an outdoor pool overlooking the Sound, lobster rolls from Jack's Shack and delicious cocktails from Lowtide Beach Bar.
