Awesome all around!!! Great bartenders!

I booked a  pool pass on the spur of the moment on a very hot evening. Pool wasn’t crowded and the water was nice and cool. The entire pool area is shaded by the building. The bar served nice and stiff drinks. The only downside is that you have to walk up two sets of stairs to get back and forth to the bar. Parking was easy and free. 

Great For Cooling Down on Hot Day

This was very good value. The water was clean and cool. It was isolated from noises other than a side street that had occasional traffic. There was plenty of shade and sun. The bathrooms and hotel were clean and well kept. It is in a good location, maybe a bit far for some to walk to some downtown Austin attractions. The food was good and reasonably priced. Good mixed drinks from the bar. I only gave it 4 stars because some of the lounge chairs needed repairs.

Daycation at pool

Not the best ambiance (no music, a little run-down), my lounge chair wouldn't stay in the correct setting once you lay or sit on it, dingy towels, and no bar/food service until 3pm.  I'm pretty sure someone came in from the street to hang at the pool so I was pretty bummed I had paid for a pass for not the most comfortable experience.  The day pass price is lower than the other hotels so you definitely get what you pay for (better to go lay out at a park where it's free).
