As the only luxury rooftop pool in the Campus District, Otopia Rooftop at The Otis Hotel offers one-of-a-kind experiences with signature summer-inspired cocktails plus stellar views of downtown Austin. Book a Day Pass for a daytime retreat to enjoy the luxurious heated rooftop pool or reserve a Private Poolside Cabana for up to four people. If the Texas sun whets your appetite, order from the menu of light bites. Parking and towel service are complimentary.

Due to COVID-19, this hotel is following CDC guidelines and has implemented the following safety measures at the property:

Pool chairs have been separated to ensure proper physical distancing.
Hand sanitizer stations are available around the pool for use by employees and guests.
Limiting capacity on the pool deck to ensure adherence to all state and local regulatory ordinances.
Comprehensive sanitation protocols in place including sanitizing pool chairs, tables, and other poolside furniture after every use.
All employees working on property will have protective equipment such as masks.
Masks are worn by staff members at all times, guests are required to wear masks when not in their seat or in the pool to comply with City of Austin requirements as of June 23rd.
Food & beverage service is available at seat only, not in the pool.
Consuming Food or beverage is permitted only while seated.

Day Passes for up to 4 people (all amenities included in the Day Pass)
Premium shaded cabana with couch seating

Ages 21+ only. Available Thursday Evening, all day Friday and Saturday and Sunday Afternoon. No outside food, coolers or beverages. 20% gratuity will be charged on all food and beverage.

The pool itself is really nice, and the furnishings and seating in the shaded section are as well. The staff was very friendly! However, they don't have full bar or food menu options since the restaurant upstairs is closed. They do still have a full liquor bar and pre-made froze drinks, but if you want a custom frozen drink (marg, pina colada, etc) they won't be able to make it because they don't have a blender outside at the pool bar. Make sure you eat before you go! They only have a few food options on the menu, chips & salsa and mixed nuts. No entrees or any substantial food options.
