We had a great time! Everything was clean and nice. The only thing that we think that could be better is the beach chairs should be included with the pool or some kind of chairs maybe not the chairs with the umbrellas but just some kind of chairs to put your things on or to just sit on on the beach. We were offered $34 more for the beach chairs after we had already paid for the day at the pool. But we had a great time we will definitely go again!

So relaxing hanging out poolside DJ playing music and doing awesome pool games. also, great staff and food. would definitely recommend and looking forward to going back!
I am going to leave a very honest and concise review from start to finish of how our day went to explain why we gave 3 star as the average for the good and bad that took place. We pulled up to the Valet where Maximillian was there to greet us. He was very kind, warm and welcoming. He was also very quick to answer our brief questions and to park our vehicle. 5 stars for the Valet experience over all… however when it came time for us to pay, I was confused at the added “tax” price going from $30 to &31. 95. It was supposed to be $10 per hour, $30 for 8, or $35 for overnight, we were there from 8:45am till 3:50pm so 7 hours, should’ve been 30 or less, never seen a Valet add tax to their flat rate. Anyhow. .
we arrived looking to have breakfast outside and the hostess was an older woman who was frankly rude. She took in someone who was standing beside us asking to be seated after us, we arrived first. So we then instead decided to walk to the grab and go spot where we ordered a Turkey egg and cheese croissant sandwich which was underwhelming and not tasty, and over priced for what it was. The sausage was gross. We also ordered a chicken caeser wrap, with a coconut latte. After we pay, the lady tells us they are all out of chicken Caeser wraps. That was a bummer. She then offered us a turkey sandwich in its place. The sandwich was just ok. . our total was $40 for all three items. The sandwiches were definitely overpriced for what they were. However the latte was yummy. It was flavored with coconut and we opted to have cold roam added. After sitting for breakfast, which was gross. . we decided to try and make up for it by going to the pool and perhaps ordering something else a little more exciting. When we get there, they pool check-in guys tells us the pool isn’t open for day pass holders till 10am. There were already hotel guest in the pool area, so we didn’t understand why we couldn’t go in as well. It made us feel lesser than. It was already 9;30 with only 30 min till 10. It was hot and I was very aggravated at that point. So we decided to check out the beach since we understood our passes give us access to their beach, HOWEVER we did not expect them to try and charge us an extra $47 dollars to use the beach chairs. We understood our passes gave us acress so we assumed it included the chairs and umbrellas being it didn’t specify the added fees, just stated first come first serve, and they were already expensive, which is why we decided to come early only to be told we have to pay extra or wait till 10. I was livid at this point. Regretting the purchase of the pass. Thinking I could just go to the beach with my own chairs, cooler etc and not have all this hassle. I’m now looking for a rest room to use and go to open the doors of the restaurant behind us, but they had its doors locked, so we had to walk all the way back over the bridge to get to the lobby just to use the rest room there since we were being denied access to the pool area. At this point I almost want to leave. I remember texting my spouse saying “what more could go wrong?” Then the lock to the larger bathroom stall wouldn’t work to close, so I had to go with my bag to a smaller stall, wonderful. It’s now 9:48 we decide to walk back to the pool area so we can get the seats I wanted, hopefully. As they are checking people in, I see they have a sign that says “one towel per person”… I normally take two each when at a resort, so that was a turn-off. However, later in the day, I saw people walking in with two each, so I’m not understanding how this wasn’t being enforced. Also, they say no coolers, no floats or pool noodles allowed, but there was a party / group who had pink floating tubes and I heard them say to each other “go mix me a drink we have lemonade in the cooler” … not sure if the hotel provided it, but the rules clearly aren’t standard across the board. This place made us feel undervalued and underprivileged, and that is not how any paying customer should feel. I didn’t have this experience at other resorts. Now for the good. . Brittney was our server poolside, she was great. . checked up on us often, remembered details like adding lemon to our water refills, and even was transparent about the gratuity being added, which some locations are not transparent and vocal about it. We were fine with that because she earned it and was worth it. The drinks were great and so were the tacos. . however we expected 3, never seen a place charge $21 for only two tacos and fries. There always 3 at every resort I order these, so I felt a bit ripped off there. Also ordered a fruit cup and it wasn’t full to the top, looked like some was already missing. . $7 for a little more than half a cup is wild. Shouldve had watermelon too. And there were no lockers to rent there as I expected based on a video I saw online, and I wanted to place my items there so I can safely enjoy the entire pool area. I never got to do that cause the pool was crowded and I didn’t trust leaving my purse alone. So over all I give it 3 stars cause there were some really crummy things that happened. But I did enjoy the over all environment and pool service. Plus or minus some things. .
