Cabana 3:30pm - 10:00pm at Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter

The key cards weren’t needed to get in the pool area and it was much smaller than I expected. There was only one unisex bathroom. The food was not delivered poolside, we had to go get it. There was no one there to let you into the cabanas, even though I paid for it, anyone could have just used the cabanas. Overall, I probably won’t go back there again.

The temperature on that floor was very hot for some reason. Also in the room, the room temperature seemed to have a hard time getting cool as well. I knew engineering had fans in the hallway bit it was extremely hot on the entire floor.

Pool was fine. But the WiFi did not reach and I primarily chose to use the resort pass to spend my work day in a more enjoyable setting. I had to return to the hotel lobby to finish my work and missed valuable hours in the cabana. My guest and I were also separated during that time as well. So it was disappointing.

So disappointed in my experience at the Le Meridien. The cabana looks nothing like the marketing photos, my lounger is literally caved in, the cabanas back up to a brush area so there’s tons of bugs, there’s no poolside delivery as noted in the listing (you must order takeout from inside and pick it up yourself), the hot tub is not working and is completely shut down, and there are inconsiderate guests blasting their personal music making it incredibly difficult for me to relax and read by the pool as planned. While the price for a cabana was comparatively much cheaper than other hotels in the area, I guess I was naive to think I’d still receive the 4* experience to match this hotels status. I could’ve stayed at my neighborhood pool and had a more premium experience for free. So disappointing.

Day Pass at Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter

The pool itself was clean except the floor of the pool had stains, but overall the experience was underwhelming. There were literally only five chairs available clumped together with one umbrella, no other chairs around the pool. The only additional seating was in older, poorly maintained "cabanas" that were locked off and cost more and were sheets seperating each other that were dingy. The area around the pool area was reasonably lovely, they made an attempt to sheild the parking lot and generator- but there was quite a bit of noise from the generator that was annoying. To get food or drinks, you had to go inside the hotel to the bar. There was only one person behind the bar, and he was so preocupied with chatting with someone else we wound up waiting to get a hello for almost 10 minutes. There waas no one else at the bar. The food options were limited- and overpriced and greasy. SO don't go there thinking you are going to have a delicisious mealunless you like that kind of thing. Overall, it just wasn't the vibe of a "resort".

The experience was not as expected. They did not reserve my cabana and someone else was using them. They had not cut back the trees so there was so many mosquitoes that we had to swat them away the whole time. So many bites its horrible.
