I booked ocean side cabana. And me and my friend had really great time! Beautiful view and delicious cocktails, sun, cute swimming pool, nice staffs.

Arriving to the valet was great and included with the rental. Valets were more than willing to fetch my car so I could grab things from the trunk mid-day. Staff was friendly and helped us get to our cabana on arrival, no confusion and they were familiar with resort pass rentals. Service at the cabana was efficient and the cocktails were fantastic. We got a cabana at the end which had some privacy. The beach is quieter, the hotel is beautiful (a living wall of orchids made the lobby smell like heaven). Snorkeling wasnt great, but the water is perfect for swimming and a nice beach to walk. Only very minor downside was not receiving a call button at our cabana for the server. I believe if youre staying at the hotel and rent a cabana, you receive one. We didnt and it was easy enough to waive down our server, but having no call button it saved me from buying twice as many drinks. 

Beachfront Afternoon

This is an amazing property!!  Gorgeous inside and out.  Food is fantastic as are the drinks from the pool bar.  We absolutely loved our day there in the lap of luxury!!  The staff is equally amazing!!

The location and the service staff at the restaurant were great! However, the front pool kiosk staff seemed confused when we told them we purchased a resortpass. They tried to give us small chairs when we had purchased cabanas. Then, we had a pool kiosk staff come over and accuse us of not paying for the cabanas. Eventually, when we explained we used resortpass and he figured out who set us up, he left but did not apologize. Overall, the resort was great but being accused of not paying was not a great feeling.

We had a wonderful time here at the Kahala Hotel! The dolphins were a fun touch and it was a good opportunity to get away from the public beach crowds. The resort was clean, the food/drinks were great, and the beach was lovely. We would love to come back here if we find ourselves on the island of Oahu again.
