Iberostar Selection Paraíso Lindo Resort - All Inclusive

We had a great time! Drinks were great and food was good. Kids loved the water slides. We will be back 

Great Family stay-cation 

We got the Resort Pass to the Iberostar Lindo for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 7-11) to have a change of pace.

Check in was a little slow, but once we got to the desk, it was about 10 minutes to get our bracelets.

At 9:15 am there were NO chairs available.  Every single one at every single pool had at minimum a towel thrown over it.  We were able to find some cabanas so we squatted, but after an hour were informed that they had been reserved.  The security person did help us relocate and they removed towels for us to sit there.  

The kids had a ball at the water park and multiple pools.  We adults found the main pool crowded, the drinks downright bad.  

The food was pretty mediocre but kids enjoyed endless ice cream.  We tried to eat dinner at 5:30 but when we tried the one open buffet, we were told we needed a reservation (despite there being 8 people in the restaurant), so it was quite frustrating.

Crowded but fun

This hotel had something for everyone. We started out with a $45 cab ride from our hotel to Iberostar. Our hotel was next door and the cabs here are rip offs. When we arrived at the gate, they took our IDs (we gave them our Drivers Licenses). They held onto them for the day. Didnt need ID for the kids. We checked in at the hotel registration and got wrist bands. We had the best day. We enjoyed the buffet twice, all the pools and bars. The dinner restaurants dont open until 6pm. We found star cafe, a little coffee shop and got a bunch of sandwiches and pastries before leaving. We never made it to the beach but heard it was lovely. If I ever come back to Cancun, I would stay at this hotel for my total stay instead of just a day pass.  

Great place for Everyone

This was a great place for our family of five to spend a day! Waterslides, the many pools and beach were amazing! The only downside is the cost of the taxi to get there and back, but honestly, not something ResortPass can control. 

Family Fun

It was a wonderful day! With the 3 kids, the waterslides were big enough for having fun, the wave pool too. The pool was amazing, the food was good and the employees were really kind. We had a really noce day there. 

Beautiful place

This place is a really out dated. The pools were dirty, the water slides were old and very cold water, the hot tubs didnt have any water in them, the drinks were given to everyone in the clear plastic cups they use in like public school and the food/buffet was pretty gross. Service was very kind but the ratings on ResortPass are not representative of this resort. Prior to this we have had amazing experiences using resort pass but I would not recommend Iberostar to anyone!

Not at all what we expected! 

Very nice hotel, clean, friendly, no complaints. Based on our experience its a solid 4.5 stars. Wish there were more activities by the pool and on the beach, and a larger menu for pool / beach lunch. Water park was a really fun for adults and kids. Service was excellent even for day pass customers

Perfect day

The resort is beautiful, very friendly staff. Felt like a guest there, not a visitor. You have access to everything and are taken care of every minute. Was a great day.

Great day of fun, food & drinks

To start, I was being dropped off by private car and they held us for 20 mins at the front gate. They finally sent a golf cart to bring me to the actual hotel. A hassle and poor communication. The buffet closed at 11am until 1pm leaving only one restaurant available for lunch (despite the hours posted on resort pass). The hotel was clean but seemed dated, needed updating.  The steam room in the spa was broken. I did enjoy the sauna, plunge pool, roman baths, etc. Bathrooms were clean and had amenities.  The massages were insanely overpriced! I got an hour full body deep tissue massage in Puerto Morelos on the beach for $65 total. Do not come here for the actual spa services!!!
