Hyatt Regency Boston

Hotel is fancy and it is in a great location in Boston but the pool is too small and does not have enough space to be around. Need to re built and have a Better  modern Swimming pool to offer the Guests. The water was too salty and strong chlorine. Thanks 

Not at all great 

There were 8 chairs at the pool-this did not meet the needs of the guests. Towel service was very good- they restocked often. Many loud children at the pool and fitness area- many young children using the fitness area unsupervised. The pool and fitness area did not appear to be handicapped accessible- multiple long hallways with many stairs. It was not relaxing at all but the pool temperature was pleasant. I finally escaped the yelling and splashing and went to the sauna. It would not go above 73 degrees. Gave up on that and went to the fitness area. Eventually the unsupervised children left. Several supervised toddlers appeared and played on all the equipment. Finished working out and enjoyed a quiet dinner in the restaurant. The food was very good.  Not ‘resortish’ in anyway. Similar to my YMCA. 

Not relaxing but had the basics 

we used this as a rainy day activity - we had the whole pool to ourselves! The facilities were great and very clean. There were plenty of towels for us to use. The only downside is that the pool is located on the 4th floor, but the entrance is on the 6th floor which made bringing the stroller up 2 flights of stairs a challenge (but they did have security escort us through the back way into the pool).

We really enjoyed our time. Checking in was a breeze. The front desk lady who was assisting us was really friendly and welcoming. Pool wasn’t crowded, locker rooms were nice. Amazing day overall 

Great experience 

Pool was crowded when we first went on a hot Sunday afternoon but it got a little less crowded later on and we were able to swim laps.  The gym equipment needs a little attention (rowing machine strap broken; pins missing on some equipment so you can't change the weight, etc.)  It was nice to be able to use these amenities without staying overnight!

It was my first time using the resort pass. It was a great experience. The Hotel was great as well.

Will certainly recommend to friends and family.

Daycation 

This site came to me through an ad, having such short notice of having 5 days off I decided to invite a couple of friends and booked everything for the exact amount listed. No extra charges, surprising! Anyway, for $25 it was access to a 3-5ft deep pool, a small gym and an open terrace, but it faces other buildings so we didn’t use it. We stuck to the pool, since it was noon and people probably had plans, we got it to ourselves the whole time. The area showed some well-worn marks, like the rowing machine had a snapped strap and looks like someone loosely tied it in an attempt to keep traction. The channels on some treadmills didn’t work, but that wasn’t a personal problem when we had our phones. The sauna can fit two people with space, three of you don’t mind elbows, at least for the women's. In the changing room you get towels and there’s soap/shampoo provided with the single shower, but bring your own locks for the lockers. 

When you sum it up $25 is an amazing deal so we thought it was a good day spent. 

As for checking in it was really easy. Only one ID was needed for the one who booked it. All in all, if you’re looking for something low key this is it. Might do it again!
