Hyatt House LA - University Medical Center

This location is my top 3 on ResortPass. Everytime I went (which was more than 5x) it was always either just me and maybe 1 or 2 other people who wouldnt stay long. Full sun exposure which is important for me. Full size pool which is also important to me because I love to swim. Towels are provided and clean, showers and bathrooms are available poolside and clean. Theres also a nice fire pit you can use next to the pool. The hot tub was always great. They have umbrella chairs for those who want shade. Concierge is kind and gives you a pool key there is also complimentary lemon water in the lobby in the summers. Also a gym available. 

My cons:
No food until 5pm but they allow delivery 
Pool was a 6/10 sometimes 7/10 on cleanliness 
The sun leaves the pool area around 5pm during the summer months 
Hotel staff is in and out of pool area for idk what reasons 

I only stopped going bc I now live in another part of town

Great location 

The kids and I have been here three times with resortpass and it is a reliable choice for pool access. Check in is smooth, parking is easy, and pool is heated and clean. No frills, but there are towels, outdoor showers to rinse off, bathrooms next to the pool, and a hot tub.

It is generally not crowded as the hotel is next to the U.S.C. medical center and it is not a touristy destination. Pretty quiet vibes but the kids have fun in the pool anyway.

Basic pool access

Perfect spot to get away for a day.  Pool temp is perfect, lounges comfortable and plenty of them.  Gym is well equipped.

Had a great experience here. Went on a Sunday to use the pool and hot tub. Front desk staff were very professional and helpful. The pool was heated. The hot tub was nice, but my personal preference is that it could have been slightly warmer.

We got superrrrr fortunate, hot tub and pool all to ourselves. It was raining a little bit which made for a fun unique experience. Would definitely utilize resort pass again in the future. The Hyatt was also super clean and an enjoyable place to spend the afternoon.
