It's easy to not get a lounge chair here because there's so few, also the website says there's poolside food and drink service but no one came around at all.  Very little shade too.  The pool has a very shallow end though that's probably good for littler kids if you need that.

All in all we had a great time.  Our check-in at the front desk was great, but some of the other employees were not sure what the Resort Pass was so it took a while for us to receive our complimentary water and fruit that was included with the cabana. When we arrived, the pool was busy and all of the loungers taken, it was a good thing that we had rented a cabana otherwise we would have been out of luck  since its a first come first served when it comes to the loungers.  Parking was $15 but convenient.

This new and improved location has a retro feel to the interior.  The place is easy to find and you are greeted kindly and immediately by employees.  Here you receive a wristband after they check your ID and you dont need a hotel card.  The front desk guided me through to the pool area and showed me the amenities.  The pool surprisingly had floaty toys which made my afternoon extra fun in the sun! There were few people but I was there on a Wednesday afternoon.  It seemed like a more youthful crowd which was fun! There were no screaming children.  I ordered a tuna tostada that was refreshingly tasty and a non-alcoholic drink that was delightful.  Service was 10/10. I highly recommend Hotel Dena for your mini getaway.
