Purchased a resort pass for two pool chairs with umbrella at the Fairmont orchid. The resort would not honor this as they said they dont offer pool chairs only beach chairs. 

False advertising 

The cabana was nice and the service was OK.  They didn't seem to use ResortPass very often because they were confused about what had already been paid for and tried to charge us twice. They also have a lot of fees that are not clear, so make sure you read everything and ask questions. We had to pay an extra $150 in service fees and gratuities that were mandatory. It would have been nice if that was all upfront. The pool was really nice. It was a great size. The beach was pretty far away from the cabana and was rocky. Make sure you bring water shoes. The snorkeling was pretty good their beach.  Overall it was a nice day. 

Beautiful resort, beach was just OK

the property is nice, and the service was good, but overall it did not live up to what we were expecting, given what we paid for the pass (nearly $1000). i would not recommend.

The resort was very beautiful, and the staff were absolutely amazing! 

A perfect way to spend the day away from the cruise ship! The resort is gorgeous! We had a day bed for 2 with a sunshade. The pool attendant brought a small cooler with water, juice and fruit. Towels were provided and so were chips, pineapple and mochi! Service was great and the pool was wonderful.

The hotel has a fantastic pool and access to the beach. The pool cabana included towels, refreshments, snacks, and service from the restaurant by the pool. We ordered lunch by the pool and the food was pretty good (good price and very large portions). The staff is super friendly.

Great Service

We had an incredibly relaxing time at the Fairmont! Our server for the day was that blend of laid back and attentive you hope for - and we were able to relax to the fullest while on our babymoon. The pool was pristine, the food was great, the views were beautiful, and we stopped at the very nearby petrogylphs afterwards. Would love to come bcak here. 

Great views, location, and service! 

We purchased the pool daybed and it was right by the pool. The hotel landscaping was beautiful. The pool wasn't crowded and we enjoyed a day of swimming and relaxing. Service was good. We opted to dine at the restaurant and sat with stunning views of the ocean. The food and service were excellent.

Beautiful resort

We love having a Day Pass at the Fairmont on the Big Island. It is a beautiful indulgence. The cabana provides shade all day. The pool is beautifully landscaped. The views are classic Hawaii. The beach is right there and getting into the water to snorkel is easy. The snorkeling is decent. It is nice to be provided with some snacks as well as pool side service. People are civilized.

Spa Without Walls signature Rainforest Essence treatment combines a traditional lomi lomi–style massage with a Hawaiian mamaki volcanic mud wrap to the lower legs and feet.
