We had a great experience here. Easy valet, beautiful resort grounds, the pool was clean, beautiful and warm, the staff were kind, helpful, and attentive. We came with our 2 young kids and did a daybed. The regular chairs looked comfy and there were plenty, but the daybed was so comfy and roomy and we could draw the curtains for the kids to nap. We came on Wednesday, but its spring break so it was a little busy. We still had plenty of space to play in the pools and while the hot tub is small, we were able to use it whenever we wanted to. There is a 1 ft shallow pool for little kids, which was a hit with my toddler. We will definitely be back!

Service was incredible, we were by ourselves at the pool on a Tuesday. Excellent food and drinks, pool is heated!

Phenomenal day

Love the Fairmont Grand no doubt of the beauty. I was a little bummed that there was no service at the pool. No one really came
To asm for drinks or food. Not sure why there was no service at the pool. We would have to come again to experience the amazing pool fully! 

Beautiful

I booked a daybed to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The daybed was nice and spacious and was definitely worth the extra $20. The pool was a really nice size and temperature. However, the hot tub was TINY (max 4 adults) and was constantly filled with unsupervised children on a Friday afternoon. The pool was also filled with children (which is okay), but didn't make for a very relaxing day. I think it's a shame that there isn't an adults-only area that is included with the resort pass, as I know the hotel has them. Food + drinks were expensive but good! Service by the pool was wonderful - they even gave us two complimentary glasses on champagne to celebrate my boyfriend's bday. Overall, we had a great day, but would probably not come back due to the amount of children. If we could access adult only areas, we would definitely come back.

Beautiful resort!

Great day spent at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar!  Very quiet and relaxing, the pool temperature was great and the hot tube hit the spot.  Will go again!

Fantastic Resort

My husband and I spent the day at the pool and it was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we entered the hotel, all staff was friendly and professional. The hotel and property are very luxurious and it was such a treat to be there. The pool location is great and it felt so much warmer than it actually was. We went on Valentine's Day and it was 62 degrees outside yet it felt so incredibly warm. The pool was also nicely heated and comfortable. We loved the entire experience and will definitely be back.

Everything was PERFECTION!

We really enjoyed the adult-only relaxation area. The saltwater lap pool and the heated spa pool are both wonderful. Excellent service and friendly staff. We will be back!

Beautiful Place

Had an an absolutely amazing day here (went alone for my birthday). Next time Ill get there earlier to enjoy more of the property before I settle in poolside. I 10/10 recommend spending a day here!

Idyllic 

Relaxing day at this spa which has multiple amenities.  Received access to the saltwater outside pool & I was the only one swimming!  The staff was attentive and readily available.
