Eden Roc Miami Beach

I needed a room for the day and access to pool and beach facilities before an evening flight home. We got off a cruise early morning in Miami. Checked in right at 10AM and our room was ready. Bell man and front desk were super helpful. We took a quick nap and hit the pool. They set us up towels and umbrellas in a prime location. Had food and drink service to our chairs. Beach was close and also had chairs and umbrellas there. Having a room meant we could shower and repack bags before the flight. Will ABSOLUTELY be back to this property.

Check in was great! The F&B service at the pool was awful! The quality of the food was poor at best! Your wings are awful! Wings Stop product is that much better! Ocean Grills buffet looks like  8 street banquet hall! Never again!

Not Great!

This spot had a lot of amenities. The spa was very tasteful though some simple things seemed to be neglected. The drinks were delicious and the pool was great. One of my biggest hang-ups is they made you pay $50 for a beach chair even with the spa/beach/pool day pass. It's only available for free for guests staying at the hotel. 

A Lot of Amenities

Beyond stellar customer service, the day was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, it was raining so I was not able to go to the beach and pool but my pass included spa access. For $115, I was expecting a semi upscale experience. DEFINITELY WAS NOT the case.  Almost all of the amenities in the spa were broken and sorely in need of repair. The steam room had ZERO steam, rain shower was broken, and sauna had very low heat. You needed to sit for at least an hour or more to build up a little sweat. Even the one clock in the facility is broken. In the six hours I spent there, all I was able to avail myself of, was the jacuzzi, relaxation lounge and the very weak sauna. Additionally, there were no real snacks or fresh fruit, nuts, flavored water, NOTHING of note. Just some yogurt covered pretzels and dried bananas. There is a tea/coffee station. This spa experience did not live up to the luxury branding. If booking a day pass,  here skip the spa option  and stick to the beach/pool passes.

I think for the use of a pool the price of $60 is a bit much. Food and drinks were expensive 

Edn Roc Review

Nice enough hotel for a beach day. The rooms are definitely dated, but thats not that big of a deal for this use case. The big problem is the nickel and diming. When we booked our day room for 4 people we assumed that included beach chairs and umbrellas for 4. Unfortunately it only included 2 chairs and 0 umbrellas. Umbrellas are $35 each and additional chairs are more as well. Additionally the valet charged us the overnight rate rather than the daily rate. Front desk associate upon check in was not friendly or hospitable. Pool and beach servers were excellent. 

Great if you don't mind being nickel and dimed

The clay and play was a romantic and relaxing experience. The staff at the spa were all very friendly and helpful. The actual experience is really well thought out and was even better than I imagined!

It was a fantastic day for my partner and I. We enjoyed the spa amenities and the private beach. We are looking to visit again!

Great place to relax 

I was initially looking forward to spending a day at the Eden roc spa, unfortunately I had countless let downs throughout my experience. Upon entering the spa there was no key card given to enter the spa directly despite having paid for the day. I had to walk all the way to the front desk over and over for someone to let me into where my locker where my purse and other belongings were. Two out of the three sauna/steamroom amenities were closed/out of order. Disappointing, I wish I wouldve known this before booking. The spa was supposed to include beach access, but they only gave us pool access. Of which there were three and I was told Id have access to three but really only had access to two. I had to pay for the beach access where the attendant secured the umbrella wrong and it fell onto me while laying out on the chair. The food was mediocre for being the hotel that is associated with Nobu.
