Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa - All Inclusive

We had a smooth check-in progress and a painful check-out experience that lasted nearly 30 minutes. 

The pools were mostly crowded, even on a cloudy day. Majority of people will claim chairs with towels and then leave never to be seen again which makes it difficult to find chairs together even for a group of 2. 

Drinks were hit or miss, 90% of the drinks we ordered were extremely watered down and tasted like sugar bombs.

Food highlights were the breakfast, the buffet had great options. Outside of breakfast the food was what youd expect from a resort of this kind.

Pools were clean and didnt seem over crowded but the beach area was a nightmare with sellers repeatedly asking you if you wanted massages, braids, hats, and trinkets. Often walking up and down the chair isles and making it difficult to relax. 

Overall, the resort seemed clean, but most likely not worth spending the day at as a visitor. 

Limited Selections

Easy check in, beautiful hotel and grounds. Plenty of beach chairs. Music was nice, food choices were plentiful.  All in all a great day.

We are a family of 4. We enjoyed this place a lot.

It is definitely has a family vibe which for us worked great.

We have enjoyed other resorts in the area more. The deck around the pools is quite small, and the hotel is split in half. Images in the listing here are actually for the half of hotel not accessible to Dreams. Food was mediocre, not all restaurants available on day pass. 3 different sources of techno music were playing from different angles and felt like we could not find a place to relax peacefully. Some seats require additional payment, including all cabanas by the kid pool. We were approached 7 times in an afternoon by sales people for purchases of tours, dinners, upgrades to cabanas, tequila bottles. I cant imagine that every day as a paying guest. 

Mediocre

The facilites are very nice, the service was good. The only down part was the beach. Too many rocks, very small. Great amenities.

Good food, great service, but rocky beach

The staff from security to valet, check in to the waiters was excellent ! Excellent service, the food was great, plenty of options where to eat , lounge chairs, and fresh towels. There were so many great employees that were there every time we needed something. My waiters were Alexandro and Julio and they were exceptional and a great asset to The Dream Team! We will be back again!

Best Daycation Ever!

We live in the area and bought the day pass mostly for our 2 boys after seeing the water slide photo. The slide is much smaller than it looks in the photos but our boys (7 and 9) enjoyed it.  I found the pool  setting an odd lay out and there werent any free chairs. We headed to lay by the beach instead which was nice. They offer free boogie boards which we used. They also have surf boards which are not free and pretty expensive to rent. 
The food was good and staff friendly.  For as large as the property is it felt small and cumbersome to walk around due to the long winding pathways they have. The staff was friendly at the kids club but my kids werent that excited by it. Overall we enjoyed our day but would choose other properties over this in the future. 

Enjoyable but not wowed 

We had an amazing family day at Dreams. I highly recommend it for its food , pools and service. Really a beautiful hotel and will love to go back soon!
