It was just ok. Pool area is very small, no food or drink service when we were there. We ate at the restaurant next door and it was ok. I don’t recommend and we definitely won’t return.

A great little hotel with ideal location & great staff.  Close to nature preserve is an extra bonus. 

Lovely, simple by the sound

This was my first experience using ResortPass. I choose this resort because of the affordable cost and the proximity to my home (45 minute drive time). Everything was exactly what I expected, friendly staff at check-in, beautiful large pool, scenic views of Anna Maria Sound with a tiki bar and palm trees in the foreground, clear sound system around the pool playing a large variety of songs that everyone knows, friendly attentive drink service around the pool, and sunshine over the pool morning to sunset.  I brought bicycles hoping to take a bike ride to see more of the area. Just a 10 min. bike ride from the resort is Perico Preserve which has a loop bike trail trail. After more pool time, we went for lunch at Floridays Woodfire Grill &Bar.  This restaurant, with an open air tiki bar, is accessible through a gate in the pool area. Again, we experienced friendly staff, beautiful views, good menu choices, and tasty food.  Through ResortPass,  I learned about this beautiful area.

Upscale, scenic setting

We had a great time at the Compass Hotel! We took our 5 year old son because our property in Cortez does not have a pool. The front desk attendant was so welcoming and showed us around the pool area and told us about the drink specials and snacks that would be set out later that we were welcome to. The pool is pristine and has great view of the marina and water. Plenty of seating and complimentary towels. The attached tiki bar and restaurant is fantastic, and servers will come around the pool for drink/food orders periodically but we enjoyed eating our lunch at the restaurant out of the sun for a bit. I definitely recommend this as a great pool to visit!
