Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort

Our reservation at Andaz's Adult/Tranquility pool was exactly what we needed!  Maui beaches are some of the best in the world.  As a local, sometimes you just want a pool day.  Resort Pass for Andaz was easy.  We were treated with warm and friendly aloha from Amy, our cabana server, and Jonathan and his team from pool/cabana service. We've already made our next monthly reservation with Resort Pass for another day at Andaz!

Awsome Staycation!

This was a fantastic way to spend the day. The location is perfect, the pools are beautiful, the food and drinks were top notch, and the service was amazing. The 2 person day bed is comfortable and a great size, and the adjustable shade was a nice touch especially combined with the fact that the bed can rotate so you can be exactly where you want to be in the sun.

Perfect in every way

I love the Andaz but was a little disappointed on our initial interaction with them and our resort pass. We paid $700.00 for the day and were told to check in at the front desk. When we arrived to check in the person told us all we had to do was go to the pool and check in, and he didn’t know why it was
Listed this way on the site. When we got to the pool, they tried to put us in the worst location by a restaurant. When we asked for a different cabana they really didn’t want to accommodate us but finally did in a better spot. We were supposed to have included a bottle of sparkling wine, which we never received. While this is all pretty negative, the rest of the experience was really lovely with great service and food. They were attentive, warm and friendly. If there was a better process for those using resort pass at the Andaz I would go back. They need to work out the kinks and make users feel welcome from arrival to departure. 

Andaz Cabana

we did a "daybed' pass at the Andaz is lovely. Our "Day Bed" was really small, without only a half shade over it.  I was led to believe we would have one of the day beds with full covering, so that was disappointing.  The only thing provided was water, no snacks or other beverages unless you ordered and paid extra.  We did order lunch, excellent salads. The guacamole and chips was very disappointing, stale chips and a tiny portion of guacomole.The pool and hot tub are wonderful so that part of it was great. I would not go back and pay $300 again though as other resorts on Maui offer better situations and amenities for the same price. 

Just OK

Used a resort pass here the day before our flight home as it left quite late and had a great day. The property is amazing with great pools and there is beach access with ability to rent surf/paddle boards as well. Plenty of good food options on site as well and a coffee shop, sunset view is incredible. Would be nice to have access to a day room to shower at the end of the day though, there are only outdoor beach showers

Great locations and pool 

The cabana was all set up for us when we arrived, staff was very efficient, helpful and friendly. Service was great.

Great location! 

We dedicated one day of our vacation to the Andaz Resort based on the recommendation of a friend. We were greeted with friendly people from the moment we set foot on the property. The facilities were immaculate and the service was amazing. We stayed at the adult poolside and enjoyed delicious poke and salads and wonderful beverages. The servers were attentive and made sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend ResortPass and the Andaz. 

Aloha Spirit

We couldn’t use any facilities except the pool. Did the resort pass as a place to stay after checking out of our VRBO for the week before flying out late. If I had it to do over I’d have stayed an extra day at the VRBO. On Maui we could have gone and spent the day on any beach for free and used outdoor public showers. Live and learn…don’t waste your money at the Andaz. There are so many beautiful and more accommodating resorts on the island.

Not a great experience, go anywhere else.

The Andaz is ok. Most of the staff were nice. The only place you are technically allowed to sit on the lounge chairs is in the far back in the tranquility pool area. The other 90% of lounge chairs are only for hotel guests. The bartenders are a bit rude. I had a better experience at the Fairmont.
