This was a great spot from the cute bar downstairs to the pool upstairs. This was a great way to spend a few hours relaxing in the sun while in New Orleans.

Awesome spot to spend the day 

It was a great vibe. Music was not to loud, drinks were good. The view was incredible. Service was excellent. 
Only hiccup was that both sides of the ciabatta bread were not warm so the grilled BLTA sandwich was cold. Also, a size limit on the flotation devices so that one person does not take up 1/3 of the pool.

Super cute chilled out rooftop to hang at! Good drinks and food, music is not too loud, overall super relaxed 

Chill Vibe, Great Service

The pool was dirty greasy from suntan lotion id guess & lots of little bugs. Therecwere no appetizers that was appealinf. No chips & dip anything... More options salads 

Nice view but

I have always enjoyed going to Alto but my last visit left me my second guessing. I brought a container of watermelon and coconut water that I had in my bag along with my personal belongings and a regular water. While my friend and I were swimming, one of the workers threw away my watermelon and went through my bag and threw away my unopened coconut water. I understand not allowing these items within the establishment but this should be posted and bags checked before you enter. Going through personal belongings while the owner isn't present and throwing things away is so disrespectful and an invasion of privacy. My friend and I consistently bought drinks and even lunch. I didn't bring things to not support the business, regardless of my personal items, I bought from the business. I don't even want to go back to Alto because this experience made me so uncomfortable.

Invasion of privacy

Staff was super friendly! Lounge chairs were comfy and clean. They had complimentary beach towels & the bar made good drinks. Drinks are all upwards of $16.

Great way to cool off in the hot New Orleans summer. Good food and drinks, friendly staff. 

Great Pool

Atmosphere was very nice, everyone working at the Ace hotel was super nice and gracious. Was a great experience.

Great for a Pool Day 

The place was nice but not accommodating to all types of people. The music was boring and sleepy, nothing uptempo or current. You cant play your own music either. The staff is really great though. If you have ear buds its perfect. if youre going with friends and expecting a fun turn up, this is not it. Drinks are ok, food is pretty good.
