Aloft Miami Airport Hotel

Aloft was very inviting when we walked into the lobby. There are plenty of tables and chairs available in case you get there very early like we did! There is a pool
table and games in the lobby. The room was very clean and large. Perfect way to spend the afternoon  after our cruise while waiting for a late flight!

Clean, great rest stop!

I decided to book a day pass at this hotel on a whim for my daughter and I on Memorial Day because it was conveniently close to my house and really affordable. The hotel looks nice and the front desk staff was also very nice. The pool and surrounding area are clean, and there are pool noodles and towels available. There is a restroom right by the pool that could be a little cleaner. As another reviewer stated anyone can get in. In fact, while we were there, there was a man just lingering around the pool area and even leaning on the pool fence looking over our belongings that made me uncomfortable as he was clearly not a hotel guest. I called the front desk and they called the police. The man eventually left the pool area on his own, and I used that opportunity to leave with my daughter. I noticed he just lingered in the parking lot instead and as I left a police car was arriving. One thing to note, parking is free, not $7, unless you are staying overnight, then it's $12.

Nice, Affordable Day Pass Option

This was my first time using Resort Pass, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Upon arrival at the hotel, the young man at the front desk was not very pleasant. I was unaware of the $100 security deposit and he seemed annoyed when I questioned it. After he explained the process, I received my room key and went to my room.

The room was basic, but as this was just for a few hours, I didn't mind the lack of frills. My main issues were the dirty shower and housekeeping knocking on the door precisely at 4 PM for checkout.

The pool area was nice with plenty of loungers. There were no umbrellas, but trees on one side of the pool offered shade. Towels were provided, but they ran out quickly and were not refilled often. The pool area was open, and I noticed a group of teenagers, who were not hotel guests, using the pool. While they weren't bothering anyone, it's worth noting that anyone can get in.

Okay for a short stay 

Great place to wait for your flight after your cruise. Rested in the hotel room in a comfortable room. Had a complimentary Uber sent for us to go to the airport. 

Relaxing 

I needed a day to disconnect and chose the day room pass and It was the best idea. The front desk agent was super nice and accomodating. Will definitely be coming back. 

Great Choice. 

We were able to store our luggage when we arrived which was a plus.  The pool area is very basic with only a few lounge chairs.  There are no shower facilities so it is not possible to clean up after a day by the pool before heading to the airport.  You would not book this hotel for any other reason than to kill time before a flight so it is very disappointing that there are no showers available.  Stating the obvious, it is very noisy due to the proximity to the airport.  Not great value for money.

Lady in the morning with pink hair was helpful and nice - everybody else was a disaster - lazy un welcoming 

Free shuttle is an Uber but only small one- so watch out if you have loads luggage 

Pool is cold and has parking view but has the whole day sun

Good location - poor staff

My first time doing an daycation and it worked out perfect. I had hours to wait for my flight and  enjoyed a cool room and got some sleep.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly and helpful.  This was a perfect way to spend the day instead of at an airport gate for many hours.
