I went to relax by heated pool, there was no heat in the pool. No one taking orders, and valet driver scratched my car! I was only there for 30 mins!

I would not recommend this property. The pictures made it look really nice. The description said heated pool, drinks would be delivered. The pool was supposed to be heated, the restaurants refused to bring drinks to the pool. When we got there, we had to stand by the door to wait for other hotel guests to come to the door to get in to the pool because we needed a key card, which we’d weren't given. Awkward. When I asked the front desk for a key, they said they stopped giving them bevause people were being “brought in off the street”. The only nice thing was the view. We left after about 30 minutes. Don’t waste your money.

Really nice pool and easy check in - a lot of shade though due to location/surrounding buildings.

Day Pass

I spent a morning at the rooftop pool at The Windsor Suites and overall really enjoyed it. Of the rooftop hotel pools I’ve tried in Philly, this has been my favorite so far. The front desk let me know that my key wouldn’t give me access to the pool until 9 a. m. , so I headed up right at 9. By the time I got there, six of the eight lounge chairs and the large sofa area were already claimed, so getting there early is definitely important. Luckily, I was able to grab one of the remaining loungers. The pool itself was clean and warm, and the rooftop gets great sun in the morning. It stayed sunny until around 1 p. m. , when the sun went behind a neighboring building, so I’d definitely recommend going first thing if you’re looking for a morning of laying out. The furniture was comfortable and the rooftop itself was nice, although some of the furniture felt a little dated and the cushions could use a good cleaning. There were lots of families while I was there, with kids jumping into the pool and splashing, so it’s not necessarily a quiet or adults-only pool experience. I also noticed quite a few people “saving” lounge chairs for their guests that didn’t arrive for hours. It didn’t affect me since I had a spot, but with such limited seating, it’s something worth knowing before you go. Overall, though, this is probably the best rooftop pool experience I’ve had in Philly. I’ve also been to the W, which I find overcrowded and lacking in direct sun, and the Sonesta, which has plenty of seating but a colder pool and more of a club atmosphere (loud music). The Windsor Suites hits the sweet spot for me: a warm pool, great morning sun, and a relaxed rooftop atmosphere. Just get there early!

Overall, great visit! There were not any loungers available when we first arrived at 9:45am on a Saturday. After about 30 minutes we were able to get some. The pool had a mix of shade and sun in the AM and we were able to order from the Asian restaurant downstairs for lunch. Would definitely go back but probably on a weekday.

Day Pass

This was my first time using Resort Pass and I had a great experience. Check in at Windsor Suites was really easy and fast. I got there about 9. 45am on a Friday and had a choice of a few different loungers or chairs, with only about half of them occupied at that point. The place did fill up but there was also some changeover so people who came later were able to get a lounger also. There’s about 10 lounges, ~ 4 couches and ~ 6 chairs scattered around. Good sunny pool and deck. The pool is heated and runs a little warm for me, but it wasn’t an issue. I didn’t order and food or drinks because I wasn’t overly hungry and I didn’t know how to order. I’m sure if I was hungry I would have asked, of if someone had stopped by I probably would have ordered a drink. I’m glad I read the other property reviews thoroughly because at least one of the other rooftop pools had reviews that said the pool is in shade.
