Day Pass

Positives - Graton pool is spacious abd they have a bunch of different areas to hang out both inside and out. They have some tasty snacks (guacamole and chips and Mediterranean plate were good!) and drink options. They have very clean bathrooms and a pool shower so it’s easy to change before and after. Also the parking is free (aside from a tip for valet). Negatives - you have to walk by the casino so it smells like smoke. Even on a weekday they play music outside and it seems to keep getting louder as the day progresses. Kind of annoying, esp if it’s not your kind of music. Drinks from the blender are super weak - I’d stick to non-blended versions. They are still doing construction next door so it’s kind of unsightly. Fortunately we didn’t hear any noise. Both times I’ve gone the service has been just ok. This second time they gave us only one of the types of sauce we asked for with the wings and then waitress asked for a cash tip which seemed a little shady. For $50-60 it seems like you should get a little more. Maybe when the open the new pool area it will be better. (Or worse!)

Nice pool space with very comfortable chairs Music was a little loud considering how quiet the space was. Beverage service attentiveness was very polite but inconsistent in making rounds. Excited for the extension coming soon!

Cabana & Bubbles

We were at Graton on 9/24, a beautiful fall day. Unfortunately the pool is closing in just 3 or 4 days so just about everything we ordered from the bar was “out of stock” and we were asked to make another selection or walk outside of the pool area to another bar inside the casino if we really wanted it. Not cool. Simple things like a Coke or a Modelo, not available. It’s a huge casino and they couldn’t keep the bar stocked because they were closing. It was VERy disappointing. We had a cabana that was supposed to be stocked with snacks and non alcoholic drinks. The snacks consisted of a single box of Junior Mints and a small bag of Peanut M&m’s. No Coke, just diet and just a few items besides water. I have to assume that was all the remaining inventory. Again very disappointing! There was no offer to get the sold out items from another location or a complimentary substitution, just “I’m sorry but we close in 3 days”. Really not my problem. The cabana was not offered at a lower price because of end of season nor were we offered a discount for the lack of inventory, and we mentioned it more than once. The service was ok, took quite awhile for us to receive or drink orders and food. The staff was friendly and good but they were understaffed for a day that was forecasted well into the 80’s. It’s unfortunate but I will not book with them next season.

Spa Pass

We had a really good day. The pool was nice, all of the facilities were super clean. The food took a while but very good, nice sized portions, and worth the wait. Lots of staff at every turn and everyone was nice and helpful. Others have commented on the music but we really enjoyed it. The lounges were pretty much all taken by 2:30 on a Saturday so I’d probably return mid week.
