Cabana 11:00am - 2:00pm

Overall, I expected more. The pictures indicated that the cabana had privacy curtains, they did not. The top of the cabana has a large hole, letting lots of sun in. Seating for 4 was advertised, but it only accommodated 3. Also, a roach fell on my wife. Poolside service was hard to get. I still give it average ratings because I was able to go relax all day, with some service.

The Signature Custom Facial (50 minutes)

So started out with booking it all with resort pass. Turns out cabana yes but facials I should have reserved after so I could use discount and I could have talked with the spa prior. If you book with resort pass you still have to call spa on your own to make appointments. I will say resort pass did give me a discount on service after I had to email them. Now let’s start with the spa. They are very very Nice and helpful. The manager made everything right and I appreciate everything. Very nice spa. Now the hotel. Had a very bad smell like sewage all day we were there. The outside attendant didn’t show up at 11 I had to call 2x and the downstairs desk hung up on me. The pool is nice but not sure the cabana is worth it. The top has a huge hole and it is one big cabana you share with others. I will say we had a good time but things at pool could have been better. I am giving the spa an excellent rating not the hotel.

Cabana 11:00am - 2:00pm

A work in progress. Quiet property, somewhat dated. Limited food and beverage options mid-day when the restaurant is closed. Have to check in through the spa which closes earlier than the pool, which is inconvenient.

Cabana 11:00am - 2:00pm

Nice pool but cabana experience not what was advertised. Food service was extremely limited, a few sandwiches with bagged chips. Drink menu also very limited, canned wine or cocktails only. No curtains on cabana, making it feel like one long public sitting area. Although advertised as adults only, half of the people at the pool were under the age of 8. Pool had a nice breeze and shade, making it relatively cool for a summer day in Texas, but I wouldn’t pay for the Cabana experience again at this location. Wasn’t worth the money.

Cabana 11:00am - 2:00pm

We had an amazing day at The Highland. The food and drink options are limited but I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich. It was a great day overall. We would certainly do it again.

My friends and I had the best time! The pool is beautiful, only downside is it took a while for them to bring down the food that we ordered but otherwise it was a good time

Day Pass

A couple of friends of mine and I thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon at The Highland Dallas pool. It was relaxing and comfortable. The only challenge is this pool does not offer any beverage service during the afternoon of a weekday from 2:00 - 5:00p.m. and they also did not have water anywhere.

Day Pass

There are no umbrellas set up. The bar does not open till 5pm and restaurant is closed for lunch. Right by the pool is a very loud sounding generator so not very relaxing.
