Oasis Cabana

TV didn’t work (management will say it’s not offered on the website, but it is in all the pictures and when I called and asked somebody about it they said they were available because I am a college football fan), fans dripped on the food, it was supposed to come with a fruit tray or chips and dip and those never were given. Service was very slow but waitress was nice. Will not use services again. The hotel down road was better day prior.

Oasis Daybed

We stayed at Wild Horse Pass yesterday and, unfortunately, what was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned into a frustrating and stressful ordeal. We paid for a daybed and were initially told that we could go into the section and choose between two available beds. Later, we were approached and told that we would have to pay even more money to remain in the daybed area—even though we had already paid for a daybed and appeared to be the only people who had booked one. While we were trying to figure out what was going on, another employee approached us and questioned why we were there, apparently believing that other people in a bed were us. To make matters worse, our waters were taken during all of this confusion. Eventually, the employee came back and apologized, and I want to be clear that the individual employees involved were ultimately polite and handled things professionally. My frustration is not with the employees themselves—it is with the process and the complete lack of organization and communication. Your process is absolutely atrocious. Not only did we have to spend valuable time during what was supposed to be a relaxing day dealing with confusion, questioning, and unnecessary confrontation, but we also had to negotiate not to be charged an additional upcharge that we should never have been asked to pay in the first place. The booking process was frustrating as well. It was presented as though the option was unavailable or out of season when I tried to book through my reservation, forcing me to go through what appeared to be a third-party option instead of having everything connected to my existing reservation. Overall, this was a horrible experience and honestly felt like a waste of money. The entire purpose of paying extra for a daybed is to relax and enjoy yourself, but instead we spent a significant amount of time dealing with stress and confusion. It completely took away from the experience we paid for. What made the situation even worse was having to repeatedly speak up and defend the fact that we belonged there. I felt like everyone around us was looking at me and judging me for speaking up, when I should never have been put in the position of having to do so in the first place. The $10 card offered for a future reservation does not come close to addressing the disappointment, frustration, negativity, and stress this experience caused for my wife and me. A $10 future credit does not compensate for time lost or for an experience that was supposed to be enjoyable but instead became uncomfortable and stressful. Again, the employees themselves were ultimately great, and I appreciate the apology. However, the process, communication, booking system, and handling of this situation were unacceptable. Wild Horse Pass seriously needs to reevaluate how these reservations and daybed areas are managed so future guests don't have to go through what we did.

Oasis Cabana

We reserved a cabana at the Wild Horse Pass pool for the day and, unfortunately, the overall experience did not match what I would expect from a resort of this caliber, particularly for a cabana that cost approximately $300. The biggest issue appeared to be significant understaffing. When we arrived, our cabana was not ready. I had to locate the towels myself, and the lights and television in Cabana 9 were not working. For a premium reservation, I would expect the space to be fully prepared and checked before guests arrive. Service throughout the pool area was also very limited, but I want to be clear that this was not a reflection of the employee taking care of us. Damon was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive whenever he could be, and was quite literally hustling all day. From what we could see, he was essentially responsible for servicing the entire pool area by himself. It would be difficult for anyone to provide timely cabana and poolside service under those circumstances. For a property offering cabanas at this price point, there really should be adequate pool staffing and, ideally, someone specifically assigned to the cabanas. The purpose of paying for a cabana is to have an elevated, convenient experience rather than having to track down basic amenities or wait because one employee is trying to manage an entire pool. We still enjoyed our day, and Damon deserves a tremendous amount of credit for doing everything he could with what appeared to be very limited support. My three-star rating is directed toward the overall cabana experience and staffing, not toward him. With better preparation of the cabanas and appropriate staffing levels, this could easily be the premium experience the resort is charging for. And truly, Damon deserves recognition, and probably a raise for how hard he worked to take care of everyone.

Very nice & clean areas to relax! Only thing is the cleaning of the pool is lacked, beer cans in pool & diapers. Food & drinks were amazing too.

Oasis Daybed

The staff was helpful. The day beds were extremely dirty so they let us move to another section. We had to lay down about 8 towels to cover the bed from dirty it was. There was not server, they didn’t arrive so the bartender had to cover the whole pool so it was hard to get service. We were also over charged. We were told a fruit plate was included and was then charged for it. Disappointed for the money spent.

This was our second time out at this property and the only thing we wish was better was having things clean and having our space set up with towels. It doesn’t look like the picture, but the staff is great and really accommodating

Day Pass

It was a quiet Sunday. Not too many adults or kids. Pool was large but could use a good cleaning. Napkins and those little plastic tooth picks that come with fruit in alcoholic drinks were in the pool. Service was great, drinks are a 5 but food is like a 3.
