All-Inclusive Day Pass

I am serious, this was the worst resort I have ever seen, let alone pay $400 for 2 people to roast in the sun on cement and get one margarita and tacos. They don’t have umbrellas on 80% of chairs, the ones by the pool on a slab of hot cement in 90 degree weather, no ac in the restaraunt, or the entire place, the worst food you’ve ever had. I can’t believe they are allowed to operate. Stale Buffett breakfast and three menu items to choose from for lunch, WHAT? There’s a beach, also no umbrellas- and the sand is so steaming hot you can’t walk on it. It’s a public beach too, so you can just go there for free and get the same experience. What a total scam. This is not just like a bad experience, there is genuinely no way that this amount of money is worth it. The facilities, the food, the one drink per two hours with the strict 9am to 5 pm cut off time. Please spend your money elsewhere

Avoid this place like the plague. It’s not a resort. It’s a hotel that doesn’t extend the amenities it advertises.

All-Inclusive Day Pass

If negative 100 were an option. This extremely inadequate “hotel” let’s not call it a resort was a nightmare. Advertised several restaurants and bars. Pools, had a decent rating. Arrived and had to wait for “verification” for 45 minutes at the front desk. Was then told we had —- 2 hours—— and hand to leave. Had the urge to walk away, but decided to hope for the best. Well, no. All restaurants were closed. When we questioned this; the staff said they could offer us a fish taco(?) they brought a deep fried fish taco with brown meat. Drinks were a joke. 1/2 the staff would bring the wrong drink. 1/2 the staff would fib about what they had to offer, many saying they were “out”. The demographic for this hotel is 21, and even that would be a nightmare experience. Limited lounge chairs. Maybe 30 at the most. This area is the busy marina, always noisy 24/7. Avoid this at all cost. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card.

All-Inclusive Day Pass

Felt like second class citizens, poor value for the high price tag. Firstly, we checked in at the front desk, but had to exit and walk up an alley along the backside since we weren’t allowed in the main building for some reason. Then we had to stand outside the day pass area waiting for someone to unlock the door to let us in. Hours were from 9-5, facility boasts 12 restaurants… unfortunately only the buffet was open while we were there. All the restaurants opened at 5 pm. This is false advertising on the resort pass description. We couldn’t really use the pool, all the chairs were claimed when we got there at 9 am, and the pool was full of people after breakfast. We did meet two very kind employees on the beach front area, they helped us get chairs and kept the drinks coming. It would be nice if we weren’t interrupted every 30 seconds by people selling stuff on the beach, but they came up right over the ropes area on public land technically so, not much to be done about that I guess.

All-Inclusive Day Pass

For the price I expected a little bit nicer facilities and food options. It’s not really all-inclusive to the property with the day pass. You get a paper wristband at the lobby and then you have to walk down the street to the building where the beach access is and a staff member will let you inside. You can’t use most of the restaurants/facilities there, only two basic ones are included. You can access one infinity pool on a mid level and then you can access the beach. Everyone knows you’re not a guest because of the wristband so it seemed like they kind of just tolerate you being there (it was asked about and mentioned multiple times during the day). On the plus side they will serve you food and drink all day in those two places and the beach area has great views toward the arch and the beach. Boats are coming and going all day and there’s good people-watching. Vendors on foot try to sell you things all day since it’s so close to the water. They do have a few activities that go on around the pool and beach during the afternoon. Gets a little loud which was ok with me but if you’re looking for quiet this isn’t it. Overall it was decent but not worth the price. I’d try a different spot if I was to do an all-inclusive resort pass again.

All-Inclusive Day Pass

So disappointing! For the amount I paid this was absolutely not worth it. The food and drinks were simply not good. Not many options for lunch and I couldn’t even enjoy the food, which is why you pay for an all-inclusive pass. Even the tacos were gross! Keep in mind, it only covers breakfast and lunch, not dinner- which would have added a little more value to this pass. The facilities looked worn down. They advertised a rooftop, but it was just some chairs outside on the third floor. Nothing spectacular. This truly felt like a 2/maybe 3 star hotel. I enjoyed having a lounge chair by the pool and beach, but that’s about it. I could have easily gone somewhere else for this. For $200 I expected way more! I even saw on Daypass. com that they charged less! So why did I pay $200 for this subpar experience? Whatever you do, don’t book your day pass here.
