A ResortPass day starts the way any hotel stay does: at a desk, with a name and a photo ID. The difference is that you’re heading to the pool, the spa, or a cabana instead of a room upstairs, and the hotel already has your reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’ve wondered how ResortPass works once you’re standing in the lobby, here’s the usual flow. We’ve covered the basics of booking<\/a> elsewhere; this one picks up when you arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every property runs its day guest program a little differently, so treat this as the typical process, not a rulebook. The specifics for your booking always live in your confirmation email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What should you do before you go?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pull up your confirmation email:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your confirmation includes a Booking ID, which you’ll use to check in<\/a>, plus check-in instructions, the hours your pass is good for, and your cancellation deadline. The same details live under My Bookings in the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the hours and what’s included:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hours and exactly what your pass covers are listed on the hotel’s page and in your confirmation. Towels are provided unless your confirmation says otherwise, and parking varies by hotel. Our pool day packing list<\/a> covers the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure the name on the booking matches your ID:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hotels match your reservation to a photo ID at check-in. If someone other than the person who booked will be checking in, update the guest name<\/a> under My Account, then My Bookings, then Manage Guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book spa time ahead and arrive early:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For spa treatments, you may need to call the spa ahead to schedule your appointment. On the day, plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your first treatment<\/a> so check-in and changing don’t eat into it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where do you check in with ResortPass?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At most properties, it’s the front desk. Check in with your confirmation and a photo ID, the same way an overnight guest would. The hotel knows you’re coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let the desk know you booked with ResortPass, and staff can look up your reservation by name or Booking ID. Your confirmation can be printed or pulled up on your phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spa bookings:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you booked a spa pass or treatment, your instructions may send you to spa reception instead. There, you’ll typically present your confirmation and get your locker key, robe, towel, and slippers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concierge and dedicated desks:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Some hotels check day guests in at the concierge desk. A few of our busiest partners, like Hilton Orlando<\/strong><\/a>, run their own ResortPass check-in. When in doubt, your booking details will tell you where to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What happens at the check-in desk?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Check-in usually takes a few minutes, since your reservation is already on file. Staff will find your booking, match it to your ID, and confirm what you purchased. Depending on the property and pass, you might receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
